I'm way guilty of this also and I'm not cutting down people who do this, but I think it can get out of hand. In fact, I hope my current projects will last at least 10 years or more, but my history is setting up one forum for a while, then dumping it, and then on to something else.

Sounds like my past. I think I only had one forum last 6 years but I'm hoping to pass that mark

Not going to lie, I've done this way too many times throughout the years. I'm getting better at this, though I still make new forums when I come up with a new idea and then it usually doesn't go anywhere because I get less and less time to work on it so they never get promoted. Sometimes I would even close a forum then open a new one with a similar niche.

I've been known to do this too but I'm hoping my motivation with this one doesn't go down. It can be very hard nowadays to get new content or members unless you're willing to fork out money.

I'm not abandoning my current hosting and music lesson niche sites, but the religious one will get a different domain extension as the old one doesn't fit the site.
